Community Pantry

Give

The pantry runs on what neighbors bring: food, money and a few hours a week.

Food

These are what we run out of first.

  • Peanut butter
  • Canned beans
  • Rice in small bags
  • Cooking oil
  • Shelf-stable milk
  • Canned tuna and chicken
  • Diapers, sizes 4 to 6
  • Can openers

Bring donations to the side door on Monday mornings, 9:00 to noon, or during any open hours. Garden produce is welcome.

We cannot accept opened packages, home-canned food, or anything more than six months past its date.

Money

Money goes furthest. We buy rice, beans and milk by the pallet at wholesale prices, so a dollar here buys more than a dollar at the store.

This is a concept site, so this button does not take payments.

Checks can be mailed to Alder Bend Community Pantry, 212 Sycamore Street, Alder Bend. Gifts are tax-deductible.

Time

You do not need experience. Pick one shift, come ten minutes early, and wear closed shoes.
